I was the scripter for ChronoShatter and contributed to the design of this game.
Examples of systems I scripted included the three different firing styles, an enemy spawner, and the time manager that slowed and sped up time according to the player's actions (or inactions). When coding the three different firing styles, I wanted each firing styles to have a unique use. The first gun, which shoots red bolts, has the fastest firing rate, and can propel the player into the air with its recoil, giving the player the ability to fly. The second gun, which fires blue bolts, fires the most bolts that deal less damage, but can hit multiple enemies and also arc while being shot, allowing for better area coverage. The third gun, which fires massive green bolts, has the slowest firing rate, but compensates for its ability to pierce enemies and knock them away.
